Birthday Swap

I made this card for our shoe box card swap yesterday. I used the stems from the flower stamp in Sweet Dreams to make the bottom of the cupcake. Here's the rest of the card info.

Paper: White, Pretty in Pink, Prints Pack Designer Series
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Pretty in Pink
Accessories: Scallop Punch, Silver Brads

Technique Swap

Here are a few pictues of techniques I got from our swap. If you have any questions about any of these techniques just let me know. Here is the technique I chose to share with everyone. It's called Faux Linen. I used glossy cardstock (or photo paper) and sanded it with sand paper vertically and then horizontally until all the gloss was gone. Then I rubbed ink on the paper with a sponge. It was just that simple.

Happy Birthday!!!

Hurray! The birthday party is over. It was a lot of fun, though. Thanks to my sister for choreographing the dance for the girls. They looked adorable as they danced to "Walking on Sunshine" in the skirts we made with matching sparkly scarves.
