Wreath with burlap flowers

To make the burlap flowers I just cute a medium/long (about 24 inch) strip of burlap and pulled one of strings to make it scrunch. When it was fully scrunch, I curved it into a circle until it looked like a good flower and hot glued it. The wider the strip of burlap the bigger the flower. Simple enough?

Fun, easy project for kids.

We took pipe cleaners and twisted each one to make a circle. Then we took small pieces of ribbon and tied them on.

Big Shot Circle Die Flowers

These were so easy to make. Just run some satin material through the Big Shot with the Circles #2 Die. Then melt the edges with a lighter or candle and hot glue the pieces together. Add brads or jewels to finish them off. I turned these ones into hairclips and put some on headbands. So Cute!

I tend to save a lot of scraps. If I stamp something and don't end up using it, I put it in a drawer to use later. Same with cardstock that I cut and don't use. So my scrap pile was getting quite high and I decided to use these scraps to make scrapbook pages. I found scraps that would look good together and made pages out of them.

First My Digital Studio Card

Stampin' Up! has a fun digital crafting program called My Digital Studio. This is my card I made using it and then I printed it through Stampin' Up! professional printing service. With this studio I can also make calendars, scrapbook pages, albums, and even DVD-videos, movies, and multi-media creations. It is very easy to use and coordinates with all the Stampin' Up! products. I'm having so much fun with it, though my time is quite limited:)

Smooch Spritz

I tried a new product from Stampin' Up! called Smooch Spritz. Very cool stuff. But, I need a little more practice. I first tried the Silver Foil, but thought it was too dark. So I tried Vanilla Shimmer to lighten it up. But, as you can see, it isn't my finest work. I don't think I have the spritzing technic down quite yet:)

Baby Shower Favors

I used the Stampin' Up! Fancy Favor Die to make the bag.

I cut out the onesies and put a treat inside.
I used the Lil' Paws Embosslit for the bears and put a Hersey's Nugget on it so it can sit up.

And a homemade chocolate added to the cuteness and yumminess of the goody bag:)

Scallop Punch (punch 4 -cut 2 so they will fold in more)

Extra Large Fancy Flower Punch (punch 2 flowers then crinkle them a lot, then peel apart each paper petal into two layers)

I played around with some paper flowers to make these fun cards. The first two won't go through the mail very well, but the last one will. Have some fun with your own paper flowers!

New idea for using the Big Shot Die Cut Machine. The letter and flowers were made by simply running the fabric through the big shot with the dies. So fun!

All the ribbon is also SU! (retired).

I love the new stitched felt flowers from SU!

This is just the beginning. I have plenty more fabrics, letters and flowers to try.

I'm having so much fun making these baby burp cloths. Now I just need someone to give them to:)

The Perfect "Pear"

These are the wedding favors that me and my sister Janessa made for Steve and Jenna's wedding dinner. I used the Top Note die-cut and I embossed the pears (from the Cheep Talk stamp set) and the edges of the tags. Janessa made the cute tags by printing them off her computer, then punching them out with her tag punch. I think they turned out so cute.

One wedding down, one to go. Steve and Jenna's wedding turned out beautiful. Such a wonderful day, even with rain and thunder at the temple. Here are a few pages I did for their sign-in book. Such a cute idea. Now I'm going to unpack, repack, and hopefully get started on the next sign-in book. Hope you are all having a fabulous summer!

I hope you all have a fabulous summer! I have quite a busy summer planned. So my posts may get scarce, but I'll try to post a few fun things. It's been a great Stampin' Up! year. A new catalog/idea book will be coming out in July. That will be something fun to look forward to. I'll try to keep you all posted on promotions and specials this summer. Have a great one!
