Well-Worn Alphabet Page

Obviously this is one of my favorite color combos. I try to keep my scrapbook pages simple, since I do a lot of them and don't have much time. So here's what I used this time:
Stamps: Well-Worn Alphabet, Perfect Princess, Sweet Celebrations
Paper: White, Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: 1 3/8 circle punch, brown rickrack (oops! I forgot to add some bling to the flowers and butterfly)

Convention Swap Card

I am not at the Stampin' Up! Convention right now, like many other demonstrators. But I did send a swap card there (thanks to Sherrill). I had limited supplies, so this is what I came up with. Here is my swap card recipe:
Stamps: Polka Dot BG, One of a Kind, All Holidays
Paper: White, Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Close to Cocoa
Accessories: Boho Blossoms punch, Dimensionals, Silver brad
I am so excited to see the new idea book/catalog. I have plenty of the old idea book/catalog. If anyone would like a free one for some great inspiration, just let me know and I'll try to get it to you. Happy Stampin!

The pictures are what totally make this page look cute. You'll just have to imagine a pink and green outfit with polka dots. And the journaling will help it all come together as well.

Ginger Blossom Scrapbook Page

I think this page looks so pretty and it was so easy. I matched the page to the outfit my daughter was wearing in the pictures I took. That's usually how I come up with the color schemes for the pages I do. Here's what I used for this page(many of these are retiring soon):
Paper: White, Certainly Celery, Groovy Guava, Ginger Blossom DS Paper
Stamps: Lovely Labels, Big Flowers
Ink: Certainly Celery, Groovy Guava

Thanks to All of You

I've been on vacation for awhile, but I'm glad to be back home and stampin' again. I want to thank all of you who continue to check out my blog. I especially enjoy the comments that you write to me. I love making cards and scrapbooking. I'm happy to share my work with all of you. I'm finishing up my swap cards for convention, then my next big project is my daughter's scrapbook. Hopefully I'll be able get a lot of it done this summer. I'll post some pages when I get them done. Happy Stampin'!

Scrapbook Page with Layers

This scrapbook page is Sherrill's design. It's hard to tell in this picture, but there are five separate 6x6 pages on this 12x12 page. This allows for many more pictures on one page as you can add pictures to both sides of the small pages and flip through them. There is so much that can be done with this page. I can't wait to start adding pictures and embellishments.

Technique Swap

Here are a few pictues of techniques I got from our swap. If you have any questions about any of these techniques just let me know. Here is the technique I chose to share with everyone. It's called Faux Linen. I used glossy cardstock (or photo paper) and sanded it with sand paper vertically and then horizontally until all the gloss was gone. Then I rubbed ink on the paper with a sponge. It was just that simple.

Happy Birthday!!!

Hurray! The birthday party is over. It was a lot of fun, though. Thanks to my sister for choreographing the dance for the girls. They looked adorable as they danced to "Walking on Sunshine" in the skirts we made with matching sparkly scarves.
