Sneak Peek

Come join us on Tuesday, April 21 at 6:30pm for an evening of fun! The Relief Society of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is hosting a charity card making activity. I posted a sneak peek of two of the cards I made and put into kits for this activity. We will be donating all the cards we make to the Ronald McDonald House. Hope to see you there!

Easter is coming soon. I'm getting ready to mail my cards to family and friends. The colors on this card totally make me think of Easter. Here is the recipe for this card:

Birds of a Feather

I made this card for the weekly Late Nite Stampers group challenge. This weeks challenge is Birds of a Feather. I wasn't sure I had a bird stamp, but I found one in my Fun & Fast Notes set. I also used the Simple Friendship set and Short & Sweet set. The colors are Baja Breeze, Sahara Sand, & Chocolate Chip. Have a great day!

March Craft Day

Choo Choo

Here's a simple card I made using a new stamp set and Stampin' wheel that will be coming out in the mini catalog next week. I do enough little kid projects and cards that I thought I needed this set, as I have nothing like it :-) Have a Wonderful Weekend! I'll see some of you at our craft day on Saturday!

Another Petal Pizzazz :)

One last version of the Petal Pizzazz card. I used Spinkles in the background with Versamark and I tried a new color combo--Baja Breeze, Tangerine Tango, and Apricot Appeal with Black and White. Have a Great Day!

Petal Pizzazz

I saw a similar card to this one in the April issue of Stampin' Success by Stephanie David and just had to case it. So here is my version of the card. A little more simple than hers, but my supplies are more limited. Of course, Mother's Day is in the near future (hint, hint to my kids and hubby :>) Have a Happy Stampin' Day!

Distressed

I practiced distressing my paper and ribbon last week. I used my scissors and ink pad to help me do this. The flower was done with a blender pen. This card was really fun to make :)

A Little Carried Away

Does your work space (play space :) ever look like this? Too many projects out, old and new, too many ideas going on at once. I was having so much fun with all my new stuff I got for my birthday that I got a little carried away. I'm going to get this mess organized, then I'll have some space to finish some of these projects. I'll post some of them when I complete them. :-)

Wild About You

Sticking with the same color scheme, here is the next scrapbook page. I used the Wild About You stamp set. The designer paper and ribbon I used are from the Sale-a-bration promotion(you can get these for free, check out the Sale-a-bration promotion!). I used a challenge sketch for the layout. The Late Nite Stampers group is an awesome group to be a part of to get great ideas. There are so many wonderfully creative people. Fifth Avenue Floral

I love the new Fifth Avenue Floral set. It may be hard to see these gorgeous flowers on this page. I tried them out this week and turned it into a scrapbook page. I'll see what else I can come up with using this set. Happy Stampin'!
