I made this card for our shoe box card swap yesterday. I used the stems from the flower stamp in Sweet Dreams to make the bottom of the cupcake. Here's the rest of the card info. Here are a few pictues of techniques I got from our swap. If you have any questions about any of these techniques just let me know. Here is the technique I chose to share with everyone. It's called Faux Linen. I used glossy cardstock (or photo paper) and sanded it with sand paper vertically and then horizontally until all the gloss was gone. Then I rubbed ink on the paper with a sponge. It was just that simple.

I wanted to try and make something with this flower stamp that I had previously stamped. So here is what I came up with. This is to all of my wonderful friends.
Hurray! The birthday party is over. It was a lot of fun, though. Thanks to my sister for choreographing the dance for the girls. They looked adorable as they danced to "Walking on Sunshine" in the skirts we made with matching sparkly scarves.
