Christmas Goodies

This is the other project I've been working on--making goodies for family, friends, neighbors, teachers, etc. I'm finally done. It really didn't take too long. I chose very simple recipes(spritz cookies, candy cane fudge, chocolate covered/dipped pretzels and a few different kinds of truffles). Now we just have to deliver them all. Hope you all enjoy your holiday goodies(sorry if you live too far away for us to give you some, we still love you)!

Christmas Projects

I know I am long over due for some good stamping posts. So here are some of the projects I have been working on. I gave some other projects away without taking pictures first. Mostly they were tiles that I had stamped in different fonts with different sayings.

I stamped this tile with a retired SU alphabet set and I used Brown Stays On ink.
These projects were made using decor elements sayings. I think they are so fun.

Hope you are enjoying the holiday season. Let me know if I can help any of you with homemade holiday gift ideas.

Decor Elements Flower

I practiced putting a vinyl decor element on a tile, and this is how it turned out. I like it. So now I will try more, bigger images and words. I'm going to try it on wood and tile. Hope it turns out nice like this one. Hope you all are having fun with your holiday projects.

A Christmas Wish

I've been working on some big projects lately, so I don't have much to show yet. I've started making cards to send out for the holidays. Here's one that I used the blender pen to color. Other than that, not much to it. I hope you all are having fun with your holiday projects.

Snowmen and Snowflake

I saw these cute snowmen that another SU stamper made and I just had to try to make them. They are made just by using punches--really quite easy and cute. The snowflake and textured paper were both made with the Big Shot Die-cut machine. The snowflake is made out of cardboard and I put white craft ink on it. Thanks to all the girls who came to our girls craft night. It was alot of fun. Hopefully we'll do it again soon. Have a happy stampin' day!

Monster Card

I think this card is so fun. I can't take credit for it. It was a shoebox swap card that I got to make. We used circle punches and the round tab punch and eyelets. I think this will be a fun card for kids to make at a Halloween party. Happy Halloween Stampin'!

Spooky Halloween Card

I made this fun card(it's missing the black background) at Sherrill's event yesterday. I thought it looked hard, but it wasn't. The black images are stamped(on non-glossy photo paper). Then we used a template to sponge on the yellow. Then we did the fun part, the clouds. We used a gray ink pad, a small sponge, and a torn piece of paper. It's my new favorite stampin' technic. I'd be glad to show you how I did it anytime. Just let me know. Happy Stampin'!

Chocolate Chip Purse

Here's another purse, with a different style. I used Chocolate Chip paper with retired Designer Series paper and brown ric rac for the handles. Let me know if any of you have tried to make a purse or bag out of paper, and how it turned out.

Polka Dot Purse

I made this purse as a gift. I used some of my punches, a brad, and retired paper. I used velcro to keep the handle down. Inside the purse are four cards I made with the same color scheme as the purse. The purse is quite simple to make, it's just a matter of measuring and folding. The width and height of the purse just need to be as wide as the cards that go in it. Have fun with your creations!

Just B Yourself

This page was quite easy, considering I already stamped these cute images a while ago and was just waiting for the right page to use them on. The color combo I used was Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, River Rock (retired), and white, of course. The stamp sets are Just B, Sweet Celebrations, Big Flowers, and All Through the Year (retired). The ribbon I used is not SU, just something I found in my ribbon box. Anyway, have a great week!
